The hotly anticipated production promises a full orchestra, lavish costumes and sets, as well as internationally acclaimed singers, a brass band, whirling snow effects and rumour has it, a real dog!

What Is The Story?

Puccini's opulent arias, dramatic orchestral arrangements, and rich, lyrical melodies tell the story of the Bohemians, a group of penniless writers, artists and free spirits in 19th-century Paris. Tender seamstress Mimi and poet Rodolfo fall in love at first sight, whilst their friends Marcello and his mistress Musetta's love is beset by constant bickering. The course of true love never did run smooth and the doomed Mimi and Rodolfo part ways whilst the truth of their parting heralds fatal tragedy.
